Event Description
“Pillar of Smoke” is a narrative painting series describing a disjointed post-modern mythology following the journey of the Ghost Child, a cloaked melancholic figure trapped in an ever changing environment that shifts between the metaphysical and the abstract. Using layered surfaces and repetitive symbols the Ghost Child traverses it’s environment confronting themes of isolation, loss, and environmental change.
The viewer is invited to enter the story with their own interpretation of the narratives implied while viewing them through the lens of their own experiences.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
