Vancouver-based clarinetist François Houle is a spectacular musician whose performances and recordings transcend stylistic borders. Swedish saxophonist Fredrik Ljungkvist (Atomic) is one of the best young players on the Scandinavian scene. Tommy Babin keeps busy playing bass with a number of Vancouver groups. Sweden’s Raymond Strid (Barry Guy New Orchestra) and Vancouver’s Dylan van der Schyff are simply two of the finest improvising drummers in the world. A not-to-be-missed improv summit!
