About

Slow Nerve Action

Slow Nerve Action, now based in Vancouver, were together in the Whistler area for nearly two years. They write their songs collectively, and are (by choice) self-managed. Their influences range from Hendrix to De La Soul to Zappa to Parliament to Medeski, Martin and Wood and Roots Manuva. Slow Nerve Action for the past year have been the biggest draw in Whistler, a town in which no other original acts have been able to get regular club dates. And word is spreading. Later in Vancouver they sold out the Lamplighter Pub(250 person room) for 3 straight nights. Slow Nerve Action are on the west coast until mid February(2002), then touring as far east as Quebec City until mid-April
