FRÄNDER play modern acoustic folk music forged in the deep forests of northern Sweden. “FRÄNDER are a breath of fresh Swedish air with a sweet touch of Estonia.”

ABOUT FRÄNDER

They are energized by and find creative freedom within, the expressive modern sound of Nordic folk music and the traditional music of their ancestors. FRÄNDER is not interested in merely reproducing the past but strive to find new ways back into the future. The 5-pc band, tour extensively in Europe, North America, and Japan. ABOUT TWIN EMBERS
BC-Based Twin Embers is the contemporary Celtic duo of Annika Wilson and Danielle Leonard, whose vivacious Canadian traditional music has left lasting impressions wherever they go. Twin Embers bring tunes combining a dynamic fusion of Celtic, Cape Breton, and Scottish styles. Their music resonates with contemporary flair, showcasing sound with an infectious drive, innovative creativity, and instrumental prowess. It’s no surprise that the Embers have effortlessly enraptured listeners with their versatility, especially when they serenade audiences with soulful and haunting vocals in English, Irish Gaelic, and French. Much like embers in a fireplace, the duo is stoked in tradition, but is always ready to ignite into a blaze of vibrant melodies and harmonizing contemporary pop influences. They are joined by award-winning guitarist Adam Dobres.
