Event Description
Build on your local tree and forest knowledge in this educational and creative drop-in workshop! Participants will create postcard ink paintings of misty, biodiverse coastal BC forests while learning about these habitats, their connection to marine ecosystems, and the environmental risk factors that threaten them.
No experience is necessary. Drop in and start creating!

About Ray Nufer:
Instructor Ray Nufer (she/her) is a visual artist and student living on the traditional territories of the Esquimalt and Songhees First Nations. Her practice focuses on ink & drawing mediums, digital art, and printmaking, and her work centers around themes of connection, identity, and uniting personal and collective experiences. Ray strives to bring people together in community and wants participants of her workshops to depart feeling confident in their creative selves.
