🎵🎸 Join us for a night of electrifying live music at Lucky Bar as we band together to support 40 years of CFUV 101.9 FM's with the return of our Annual Funding Drive! Get ready to bop, mosh & rock to the beats with Poppa Don Gernie, Conjure Hand & Ex-Cowboy!

The band ex-cowboy disrupts this craving for control by oscillating between scathing and carefree, mysterious and decisive, making music inspired by a diverse range of influences converging to shape their unique sound.

Conjure Hand is a Canadian rock band formed in 2022. The band resides in Victoria, BC.
Fronted by Canadian-Caribbean front man Andrew Kovar AKA “Black Caesar”, the band plays a diverse collection of rock and roll influenced by rock, blues,and soul music of the 1960s and 70s. Lyrically the band's themes stem from African American and Canadian history, voodoo from the African Diaspora, and lower class struggles. With a trio of harmonizing guitars, psychedelic organs, powerful lyrics, huge drums, and stand out bass, the band takes its listeners on a journey that could remind one of great acts such as Thin Lizzy, The Allman Brothers, Deep Purple, and BB King. With an ever expanding stage show, and deep roster of original and cover songs, Conjure Hand looks forward to leaving its next audiences in a trance.
