Old School Camps’ First Bluegrass Intensive on beautiful Wolfe Island is happening November 3rd, 4th and 5th, 2023!
Campers will be learning and playing with Grammy-nominated group The Slocan Ramblers, Ontario’s premiere fiddler Nathan Smith and legendary Scruggs-style Banjo player Chris Quinn.
The Bluegrass Intensive includes: daily instrument class, interactive workshops, breakaway groups where all instruments will play together with instructors, camper open mics, exclusive performances by your world-class teachers, unlimited inspiration, and a chance to rub shoulders with some of the very best bluegrassers out there! Camp is also where you’ll meet your new best buddies, regional jam circle and future bandmates!
Camper Instruction, workshops, concerts and meals will take place at the beautiful, lakefront ‘Old School Campus’, which includes Hotel Wolfe Island, The Blue Cottage and The Blue Moose B&B. Camp fee includes all meals prepared by Hotel Wolfe Island. Spaces are limited, so jump on it!
Camp will start at approximately 2:00 pm Friday, November 3rd and finish at approximately 3:00pm Sunday, November 5th.
