Event Description

“Art in the Garden: creating where we live” We are a local collective of clay and glass artists who come together in June to host a casual mingling of makers and visitors at our annual outdoor exhibition garden party.

This year Jo Ludwig and Peggy Brackett of Kiln Art Glass will be back after a two year absence. We are really looking forward to seeing what they’ve been creating! We have also invited a previous guest artist, Linda Rajotte to return. We are so pleased to have her back!

All seven artists exhibiting will be in attendance, rain or shine:

Peggy Brackett - dichroic glass meticulously formed and finished earrings, pendants and bracelets;
Cindy Gibson - joyful porcelain mugs, vases and garden art sure to bring colour into your world:
Jo Ludwig - enchanting warm glass and metal sculpture expressing Jo’s wild side;
Adele Samphire - domestic pottery finely crafted with layered glazes and delicate hand painted designs;
Lisa Samphire - stunning hot glass using Murrines, inspired by garden and beach;
Sid Samphire - stoneware sculpture constructed with slabs and coils with an architectural feel;
Linda Rajotte - unique silver jewellery inspired by sea, surf and sand.

There will be plenty of lovely artwork on display so feel free to take your time. Sunny weather has been ordered! Everyone is welcome to drop by to say hello, view our latest work and perhaps go home with a new treasure.
