Event Description
In its 10th year, the 39 Days of July summer music festival is the longest running festival in the world.
Hosted by Longevity John of the venerable and wildly popular Canadian venue, The Duncan Showroom, this outdoor daily festival runs noon-night with over 300 acts this year, 2021. Beverley McKeen and her Sweet Band are a regular feature favourite, performing just a few choice covers and songs from McKeen's 3 CDs, as well as bassist/multi-instrumentalist G. Lee Worden's original recorded music, and new material. A dynamic and engaging group of musos, featuring Ray Harvey, guitars/vox (Kick Axe/Eagle Eyes), Andy Okell, drums ( Birds of Fire), G. Lee Worden, (The Gords/Ian Tyson alumni) Dee Cooper, keys (Level Crossing) and special guest Wayne Kozak, sax (Wayne Kozak Quartet, Powder Blues Band alumni)
A barnburner of a gig. Free, lots of seating, tented area, beautiful venue under the oaks. A do not miss concert!
