Event Description
Orange Shirt Day is a Residential School commemoration event (www.OrangeShirtDay.org).
At Noon, in Room 140 of VIU's #Cowichan Campus, #VIU and #VIRL will provide a public screening of the documentary film We Were Children. WARNING: This film contains disturbing content and is recommended for audiences 16 years of age and older. Parental discretion, and/or watching this film within a group setting, is strongly advised.
Participants are encouraged to wear orange at the event, and may choose to purchase an orange T-shirt on-site in support of Orange Shirt Day.
