James Hensman
On display will be a selection of landscape interpretations. These will show my love of colours and patterns. I see symbols in architecture of our culture's love of newness. However, those things, no longer new, are still of great value. An effort is made to preserve structures to show their enduring usefulness and importance. My paintings take what is old, and perhaps in decay, and celebrate their survival by instilling colour and pattern.
