We're buzzing about April's event. Can't wait for you to join us!
What to bring:
1. Your work! Our open mic welcomes all forms of expression - read, recite, talk about, or show whatever you've been working on.
2. Your friends!
3. Your ID! This venue is 19+. Sorry kidlets!
4. Your beautiful voice and wonderful dance moves! Our show is always followed by DJs, concerts, or karaoke, so stick around.
5. Your pocket money! For drinks, books, stickers, etc. We also really appreciate donations to help pay our featured artists, but entry is always free.
Plus April is poetry month! We're celebrating with our first ever double-up genre event featuring work from both up-and-coming UVic poet & editor STEPHANIE TOTH and from established fiction writer Julie Paul, who has just published her first poetry collection.
We're also happy to welcome emerging theatre collective Vino Buono to share with us in the midst of their inaugral season.
