The Artists will be welcoming guests beginning at 4:30 pm on Friday, April 21st and later, enjoying dinner in the Playbill Dining Room and then attending the performance of, "2 Pianos - 4 Hands". It all takes place in one great venue.

Event Description

: The Chemainus Dinner Theatre and Gallery is pleased to present an Art Exhibit featuring the artwork of, Richard Brodeur and Pattiann Withapea,. Richard Brodeur, also known as," King Richard", enjoyed a successful career as a professional hockey player in the NHL before establishing himself as a talented and popular artist. His paintings often depict scenes of children playing hockey on frozen ponds in rural Quebec, where Richard grew up. Pattiann Withapea is an up and coming painter with a celebrity clientele. Her distinctive and whimsical style has garnered global attention and to date, she has sold her work on six of the seven continents. Come and meet the artists and be one of the first to view and purchase paintings from the collections for their Spring-Summer 2017 Art Tour as, "The King & I".
The exhibition runs concurrent with the Chemainus Dinner Theatre’s production, the award winning musical comedy, “2 Pianos – 4 Hands”,that opens on April 6th and runs through May 21sth. The official opening night for, “The King and I” exhibit, is Friday, April 21st and both Richard and Pattiann will be welcoming guests and signing their sold works in person. This promises to be a night to remember. Dinner, Musical Entertainment, Live Theatre and Award Winning Original Artists all under one for roof!
