Event Description
The Monik Nordine Trio is a new jazz group in Victoria featuring Monik Nordine on saxophones and also Brent Jarvis on piano and Bruce Meikle on bass.
“A naturally gifted and brilliant talent, Monik Nordine is one of Canada’s unique treasures.” – writer and radio show host Kerilie McDowall of Nanaimo, BC. Monik has performed across Canada as a jazz saxophonist and band leader and has shared the stage with Rob McConnell, Tommy Banks, Michael Buble, Brad Turner, Paul Horn, Hugh Fraser and VEJI and many more. Monik holds a Master of Music Degree in Jazz Performance and Composition from McGill University.
