The Chan Centre for Performing Arts at UBC presents the internationally renowned and celebrated Indian tabla master Zakir Hussain in Celtic Connections, March 21 at 8pm in the Chan Shun Concert Hall. This concert will fuse the musical styles of Indian and Celtic traditions with an eclectic ensemble of exceptionally talented musicians including renowned fiddle players Charlie McKerron and Patsy Reid, bansuri (Indian bamboo flute) player Rakesh Chaurasia, violin player Ganesh Rajagopalan and many more.
