Pitch In Vic West - Banfield Park Clean Up and Art Show

Event Description

The Victoria West Community Centre and Victoria West Community Association Parks and Environment Committee present "Pitch In Vic West" as part of the Pitch In Canada Week. The event will include a clean up of Banfield Park, education on waste reduction and recycling. Join us for the free screening of the film "Bag It - Is your life too plastic?.

Artists of Vic West Art Quest are "pitching in" with "Make ART not TRAsh" using trash or recyclables to create art. Some artists will create objects for display, and others will be on hand at the PITCH-IN to see what they, with community participation, can make with the items collected. Lend a hand to "Make ART not TRAsh!"
