In late July of 2010, Sean Marcy returned from Medicine Hat, Alberta, to his home in the Cowichan Valley, B.C.
Gone for over a year he was eager to re-unite with best friend Mark Gough and jam, Hard.
The two got together one fine summer night with the company of two beautiful young ladies, one carrying a digital camera with video capabilities. They played guitars, sang, laughed (and cried) until sundown.
After reviewing footage taken from the evening jams, the four came across a certain “song” that brought nothing but glowing smiles to the faces of Sean and Mark. They decided that a weekly jam was in order.
Soon, another friend of Sean’s had been invited to jam. Colin McNicholls, who shared the stage with Sean in their grade 10 punk project, Proven, was the official third member of the still nameless group.
They would play and write, laughing all the while. It seemed almost perfect.
Knowing all they needed was some percussion, maybe a little jambe and some shaker, the trio took their sound to skillfully seasoned drummer and long time friend of all three, Luke Cuthbert. Luke took immediately to the music and joined.
The band got their first gig at the Cobble Hill hall and played under the name Redwood Green.
Since, Redwood Green has developed their sound into one unique, bumping and beautiful. Fitting in to an acoustic/ska/rock genre, Redwood Green uses acoustic guitars, a bass, and a drum kit to get people listening, lost, and moving. Doing so to crowds big and small across Vancouver Island.
Big sound and kit drums to some of the most sought out venues in Victoria, to unplugged and a hand drum at the local coffee shop, the fit, and fill, any venue.
Currently working on their debut studio album, Redwood Green are looking to play shows and build the stoke anywhere they can.
Four best friends, having the time of their lives, looking to share it with the world.

Born on the beautiful Vancouver Island, Small Town Villains brings a unique Island vibe and feel to their music with the use of an always varying collection of instruments, their voices, and whisky.

This seemingly decent trio of moustache sportin' small town lads - consisting of Malcom Owen-Flood (Vocals/Guitar/Ukulele), Jordan Findlay (Drums and Vocals), and Cameron Jervis (Bass/Piano/Trumpet) -focus on writing true songs based on very real experiences.

Together, the band has had the pleasure of playing with such groups as Ashely MacIsaac, Vince Vaccaro, Jon Middleton, Pickwick, Acres of Lions and many more.

After a very successful year of festivals and shows the boys released their first Studio Recording and Music Video - "When You Come Home".

The future will see more studio recordings (as well as some more videos!) and a whole lot more shows. (Canadian West Coast Tour Summer 2013!)
