Pink Chair-ity Gala Fundraiser: Washington and Cook

Our Inspiration

Last spring the team at Luxe Home Interiors decided to make a difference in the fight to end breast cancer. Almost everyone on our team has been affected by breast cancer in one form or another. We have celebrated with those who have won the fight, we continue to stand by those are fighting and we honour those loved ones who have lost their battle.

Our Community

In May we invited members of our local design community to design chairs in honour of someone who has battled with breast cancer. After careful consideration10 local designers were selected to have their designs built by our exclusive furniture manufacturers. On October 26, these custom designed chairs will be auctioned during a Gala Fundraiser with all proceeds donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. By bringing together the amazing people in our personal and business lives we know, together, we will make a difference.

Our Gala Fundraiser

The 10 pink designer chairs are receiving their finishing touches and are almost ready to ship. The food and beverages have been ordered and donations of silent auction items are pouring in. Due to the generosity of so many individuals and businesses this event could quite possibly be the social and fundraising event of the season. CTV’s Louise Hartland will introduce inspiring speakers and entertainers and our chair-ity auctioneer, Order of Canada recipient, Eric Charman. If pink is your colour or you know of someone who likes pink this is your opportunity to purchase a one of a kind chair inspired by a talented Victoria designer. Every dollar spent will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Only through your generosity and purchases will we be able to reach our fundraising goal of $25,000.00 to support the important work of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. “Individually we are one drop, together we are an ocean.” Help us offer hope to those who battling this terrible disease.
