This futuristic comedy tells the story of two anthropologists, W90SC81 and W92RC36, who live in a satirical dystopia where physical touch and eye contact have been outlawed. The two women are sent on a mission to recover a time capsule left behind from the Lesbian Collective, circa 2169. Defying orders, the two explore the artifacts from 100,000 B.C. to 2169 A.D. Thirty-three roles played by six actors unveil a skewed and comedic 'herstory' that changes lives forever more.

The Leaping Thespians is an award-winning woman's theatre company bringing stories of lesbians' lives to anyone who will watch. The company debuted in Nelson in the 1990's, now resides in Vancouver BC, Canada. We started Leaping Thespians because we have to create the plays we want to see, since lesbians need entertainment too. We like to produce original work and nurture emerging talents on stage and behind the scenes.
