Once a year this lucky time comes around blending fortune & fortune hunters, when good luck smiles upon those willing to seek it out. In this case, it comes to US - in the form of KNOW LUCK, an artist long overdue to hammer the sunset room's newly upgraded sound system! We have a bunch of treats, and at least a handful of sillyness ready to go - join us for a playful night and just perhaps, YOUR lucky night!

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Knowluck gave up a promising career as a video game operator when he was reborn after discovering the electronic music scene. Musically raised on a steady diet of Y Afterhours as well as the legendary GOMP and THC parties, Knowluck soon decided to uproot himself and moved to Calgary. Having held residencies in both cities, as well as playing music festivals including Astral Harvest and Motion Notion, Knowluck has shared stage with amazing artists such as Ill Gates, Mat the Alien, The Freestylers, Atomic Hooligan, Marten Horger, Far Too Loud and Much Too Quiet... throwing down Glitch Hop, Dubstep, and DnB on a a nice warm bed made of Electro and Breaks. Knowluck is also one half of the dubstep duo ‘2 Ninjas’ who saw great success with their dubstep remix of Sweet Dreams. Their Sweet Dreams remix received global acclaim receiving support from Subvert, Bassnectar, Wackutt, and Mark Instinct. Youtube provided great measurement of 2 Ninjas support with showing almost 100,000 views. After a winter of hibernation, KnowLuck ready with some fresh licks and new tricks for you this St Paddy's Day.

Aggressive Driving Electro Twist Step is how Tantric Decks (aka Steve Velocity) describes his sound. With 9 years of experience rocking bars, clubs, all night parties, music festivals, and every other type of event under the Sun, from him you can expect nothing but an energizing and elevating musical ride. He has also DJ'd in every major city across Western Canada. His original tracks and remixes are receiving DJ support from accalimed international artists Far Too Loud, Run Riot, Samples, Subvert, Knight Riderz, Bassnectar, and Jay Cunning to name a few. His tracks have been released on several labels including Big Fish, Audio Planet Recordings, and Epidemic Recordings. This posts his name up alongside artists such as Porter Robinson, Zedd, Lazy Rich, Alex Mind, Lucky Date, and Soulfix/Dirty Politics. His remix of Botnek's 'If You Wanna' was also selected for the "Best Of Big Fish" music compilation. Expect to see Tantric Decks continue to run alongside the best in the industry.

Space Age, originally from Edmonton, AB grew up with a love and appreciation for all types of music and genres. Transforming this love to DJing, he developed a eclectic style fusing sexy, ethnic, and soulful sounds together combined with technical mixing. His diverse sets range from sultry bellydance and downtempo chill, to dancefloor shaking dubstep and elegant psytrance. With a little something for everyone, Space Age will always get the dancefloor moving. A pioneering member of the Techno Hippy Crew, Astral Harvest, and Vibe Tribe's official bellydance DJ, Space Age has played at some of Edmonton and Calgary's biggest shows including: Beats Antique, Dehli 2 Dublin, Bassnectar, Skream, Freq Nasty, Rusko, Caspa, Glitch Mob, Freestylers, Kush Aurora, Juakali and David Starfire. One half of the Smokey Bandits, 2010 saw headlining sets at Motion Notion, North Country Fair and Astral Harvest including an incredible glitch-hop beatbox freestyle set with the amazing Shamik.

It was a dance party in an industrial zone of Vancouver that was Florian's introduction to electronica, and he immediately knew he wanted to get involved with the scene. Quickly thereafter he was getting involved in all sorts of events, from indoor shows to multi-day outdoor festivals including Shambhala, In:Vision, Diversity, and Entheos. When Florian was 16, he began investigating the alchemy of beats, basslines and melody -- seeking the transformative quality they hold on a dancefloor with the potential to unify each person into the interactive whole. He's studied the domains of dub, breaks, glitch, trance, and house in all it's forms with great dilligence, and now uses these modules to deliver a potent blend of sonic bliss that draws each individual into the dancefloor experience. Climbing the ranks from partier, to waste management, to harm reduction, to event planning, Florian is now a budding producer, promoter, and manager of Sunset Room - Victoria's only all hours dance venue. Stay tuned for lots more from this committed & growing addition to the BC scene!
Secret Alias :: Unknown l Experimental Weapons
These agents of bass have been stealthily infiltrating Victoria's dubstep underworld for awhile now. They come packing an arsenal of experimental weapons, from the space age, to the down right grotesque, that they plan to drop on the unsuspecting. Whisperings of basslines mangled out of recognition accompanied by hypnotic vox and beastly percussion precede them. It's unknown where they originate from, and exactly how they got here, but their purpose is clear, to get F$@#ing evil on the dancefloor!
