Join Sol 3 & Kill Matilda as they launch brand new CDs this special evening! Sol 3's "Whistling At The Northern Lights" delivers solid new tunes from this energized trio who've been featured artists on radio stations ranging from 100.3 The Bear in Edmonton to BBC Radio in Birmingham, England. Kill Matilda are on an ass-kicking mission of vengeance with their new album "I Want Revenge" which sees the band charged with the task of clearing the nation of a spreading zombie epidemic.
SOL 3 - These former heavyweights of Edmonton's indie music scene have relocated to Vancouver with their brand of well-crafted, hook-driven melodic guitar rock. KUSH - With influences that include Metallica, Led Zeppelin and Stone Temple Pilots, Kush's sound is best described as rock with a metal edge and a touch of old school punk. This intense, high energy band was founded by singer/bassist Lowell Campbell in 2006. Lead guitarist Marinos Stratoplis adds stunning guitar work while drummer Jordan Myer is working his way up to becoming one of the legends of modern drumming. BRIDGES OUT - With members originally hailing from Prince Rupert to Penticton to the Sunshine Coast, this BC born-and-bred group all found their way to Vancouver by way of craigslist. Rock, hardcore, post-punk, dance all of these elements contribute to the Bridges Out vibe.
