This fella has been playing all over the planet, setting the world alight with his unique blend of Funk & Breaks. He’s got skills, he’s got style and wacks out some lovely party beats. Feature Cast (aka Lee Mintram) has become a real force to be watched both in the clubs and on the stereo. Releasing on the formidable Cat Skills Records, Funk Weapons & Super Hi Fi..., he’s built up an impressive catalogue of releases & has spread the good word world wide with his debut on the Apples iPod TV campaign using his track ‘Channel Surfing’. Feature Cast has stamped his own twist of funky breaks on the scene with magnificent effect. He also pumps out some right cool DIY bootlegs! Most recently topping Juno charts and receiving rave reviews with one of them ‘Avenue Rock’ released on Good Groove records & heard gracing the radio waves as far away as Australia!
GENERIC
Whether he's opening for international superstars like Tipper, Bassnectar and the Freestylers; rocking a headlining slot at an outdoor party or providing backdrop beats in a local lounge, Generic is the kind of DJ who fully brings it, whatever the gig. His combination of technical skills (the guy has taken several Vancouver Island DJ competition titles), impeccable ear for crowd-rocking tunes and ...a fun-loving attitude makes Generic (nee Cole Magnusson) one of the Island's most sough-after disc jockeys. Expect one of his sets to be chock-a-block with broken beats, glitch hop, drum and bass and dubstep—including some of his own tracks, edits and remixes—with plenty of cutting and scratching thrown in for good measure. With skills like that, it's no surprise this 10-year vet behind the decks rarely goes a weekend without dropping a set.

PRIMITIVE

Pushing music since the mid 90's, Primitive boasts a diverse taste for dance music and a hunger to promote it. He developed his ear for bass during Toronto's electronic golden era- large, multi room parties flaunting every strain of dance music the world had to offer. Primitive's taste for music is rooted in the music he grew up devouring- Jazz, Dub, Funk, Rock, 80's Punk and Disco which can be heard in any one of Primitive's sets. Expect house, baltimore, electro, acid, bass all tied up with driving rhythms any time Primitive steps to the decks. He is a regular at West Coast clubs, lounges, and most important- festivals- having played Hot Dog, Tall Tree, and the legendary Soundwave.
