The name Freedom Danish is a satirical attempt to break through the political rhetoric of historical food propaganda through music & dance. �The name is �an ultimate f-you to anybody that wants to use food propaganda to control people's minds,� explains Jorah Kai, the man behind the red, whi...te and blue baked goods propaganda.

With over 100 live shows last year Doctore Freedom Danish has been gathering a reputation as a wild ball of big bass energy in the club and festival circuit that ignites soundsystems. This pyro-gypsy, fire breathing stream punk rudebwoy always packs a wallop with energetic stage shows, belly dancing, burlesque and fire performers /hoopers and go go girls.
Freedom Danish is now located in Toronto, Ontario and shares a studio and work space with a childhood friend and bass music icon. Life is kind of special. He also helps to run Canadian full spectrum bass label Pop and Lock Records with Myagi and Nemo from The Root Sellers. Whether rocking out Nuit Blanche crowds of 20,000 street revelers at Dundas Square, splaying bass at international fetish events, or helping to finish a second band album and handful of hot summer singles, or working on top secret sound design projects, music is a daily part of the life of Doctore Freedom Danish. His recent release w/ ill.Gates on False Profit Records (part of the Schmunday School EP) is a charity release with all proceeds going to buildschools and infrastructure in areas of the Congo.
With gigs booked this summer from coast to coast, the Evolve Festival and Halifax all the way through Shambhala to Vancouver and on to Burning Man, the man they call Danish will be spreading that love Freely.

NoProfit has been making noise for people to dance to with computers and records for a very long time.
2010 was a banner year for NoProfit. With 150+ DJ performances under his belt, including a weekly residency at Dub Trax & Reggae Tune Tuesdays in Nanaimo, Friday Night on the main stage at the Carrington Bay Music Festival, Soundwave 2010, his weekly radio show, The Massive, on Nanaimo�s 101.7 FM CHLY, various club one offs, raves, and parties, NoProfit has been one of Vancouver Island�s busiest DJs. Aside from his live DJ sets, NoProfit is a skilled producer.
In February 2011, the Vipercorps & NoProfit, "Bassline EP" was released on Calgary�s Breakz �R� Boss Records (available on Beatport, iTunes, Juno Download, and Trackitdown). In May his remix of Raze & Lava Flow's "Timeswings" was also released on Breakz 'R' Boss.
