Event Description

QUITE TESTY - Quite Testy is mix and marriage between the energy of punk prog bands like No Means No and the flow and vibe of Pink Floyd. Songs
are part demented children's rhymes and another part emotional and dramatic theatre. Tragedy vs Comedy.
JACKFRUIT - Featuring Chris Berry on vocals, Stephane Fortin on Bass, Ian Lamont on Keyboards and Sean Scallion on drums, it’s once again all-systems go. Extremities beware: it’s gonna be a primal homecoming. Head bobbing. Arms waving. Legs kicking. Bang! With their unique musical montage, Jackfruit creates an addictive anatomic explosion of such exponential proportions that no limb will remain unmoved.
WAITING FOR SUNDAY- is an amalgamation of the best parts of today's music, incorporating Blues, Folk, Funk, Grassroots, and Rock. founded by long-time friends, Dan Hudson(Vocals/Guitar) and Matt Gauld (Lead Guitar). The instant musical chemistry they shared quickly developed into something unique and powerful. With the addition of Mircea Tracke (Bass), the band has quickly developed a strong following in the Lower Mainland of Vancouver.
THE LIGHT MACHINES - All natural experimenters, Jeff Zipp (guitar), Tylor Rolyt (vocals, guitar) and Nick Beddow (bass) each contribute unique but complimentary musical sensibilities to create the fleshed-out modern Brit-pop sound that is The Light Machines. Together the trio blends genres as disparate as southern rock, blues, glam and disco. It's an artful mix of electronic beats, powerful vocals and alternately delicate and shredding guitar.
