Late show: 3rd semi-annual Yukon Night! featuring Speed Control, The WhiskeyDicks and Brigs.
In the heady atmosphere of the University of Toronto's Jazz Performance Program, Graeme Peters joined forces with North Vancouver drummer Spencer Cole combining their love of rhythm and energy to create the fundamental chemistry that is Speed Control. With the added solid power of multi-instrumentalist Jody Peters (Graeme’s younger brother) on bass, the group combines their formidable knowledge of music to rock so hard and with such determination that their songs will inevitably make you jump up and dance.
With the assistance of a Yukon Film & Sound Commission’s Sound Recording Grant, Speed Control went into the studio at Old Crow Recording with producer Bob Hamilton at the helm to record their debut CD, The A.D.D. Sides. The album was recorded in three days, and has all the energy and excitement audiences have come to expect at a Speed Control show.
Speed Control is currently touring western Canada to promote their new album The A.D.D. Sides
