SPRËADEAGLE - With their three guitar attack and brutal onslaught of '70s-inspired hard rock, these five visionaries who hail from Mission, B.C., have graced the stage with the likes of The Misfits, Speedealer, Bad Wizard, The Cherry Valence and Nashville Pussy. Their lethal combination of rock prowess slays crowds with both originals & covers.Taking equal parts of the brainless thud of AC/DC, the reckless abandon of the dwarves, the sonic onslaught that is Mötorhead, and eagerly blending it with their own unique musical nuances, they have created the aural revelation known as "SprëadEagle".
LIONS IN THE STREET create rock'n'roll that is fierce and genuine, invoking vintage Stones swagger and raunchy boogie rock 'n' roll with lean attack and ass-kicking rhythmic sense. Formerly known as The Years, the Lions have shared stages with the likes of Jet, Kings of Leon, Ambulance Ltd, The Dirtbombs and The Zutons and "explode with a Stones/Small Faces onslaught that drips with jubilant passion, as well as very loud guitars played with giddy abandon" (Guitar Player Magazine). Michael Corcoran of the Austin American-Statesman extols the Lions as being "the first great band I saw this year at SXSW!"
MONGOOSE - 4 hard working lads from East Van whose punk attitude and sonic assault of contagious and raucous garage punk rock has had them hailed as "the best live band in Vancouver!" (Nerve Magazine) and "In-freakin-sane Hives inspired alt-metal!" (Exclaim!). With their ability to write catchy songs, Mongoose has licenced songs to TV, snowboarding and mountain bike videos and movies, played over 180 shows, shared stages with Tricky Woo, Hedley, C'mon, The Furios, Billy and the Lost Boys, Faber and many more, while racking up over 84,782 km since late 2003 in a minivan called the EGG!
