MONGOOSE - 4 hard working lads from East Van whose punk attitude and sonic assault of contagious and raucous garage punk rock has had them hailed as "the best live band in Vancouver!" (Nerve Magazine) and "In-freakin-sane Hives inspired alt-metal!" (Exclaim!). With their ability to write catchy songs, Mongoose has licenced songs to TV, snowboarding and mountain bike videos and movies, played over 180 shows, shared stages with Tricky Woo, Hedley, C'mon, The Furios, Billy and the Lost Boys, Faber and many more, while racking up over 84,782 km in a minivan called the EGG since late 2003!
The SMEARS combining elements of old and new school punk and rock with the addition of undeniably beautiful melodies, one of Vancouver's favorite punk bands garners new fans at every show with their unique intense music flooded with passion and emotion.
The FURIOS deliver an irresistible blend of ska, reggae, and catchy punk with solid, memorable vocals and empowering, danceable anthems that range from head bobbin' slow skanks to all out, full throttle, pedal-to-the-metal ska romps. Featuring a three piece horn section complemented by distinct songwriters and vocalists, The Furios shine the brightest when seen and heard live. The six piece band rocks, jumps, bumps and dances through set after set creating a party atmosphere that has made them a favorite with audiences. With 11 Canadian tours under their belt and dates on last year's Vans Warped Tour, The Furios have shared stages with The Real McKenzies, Fishbone, Bedouin Soundclash, The Planet Smashers, DOA, The Smugglers and many others.
