About

Ross Taggart Trio

Ross Taggart’s lyrical phrasing and robust sound on the tenor sax are just a part of the reason he’s one of our country’s finest jazz players. This trio also features his considerable skills as a pianist and composer. He has performed for audiences around the world, and has performed with Benny Golson, George Coleman, Clark Terry, Frank Wess, and many others. Taggart and his band mates — Darren Radtke bass and Bill Coon guitar , Paul Rushka bass and Campbell Ryga saxophone — play with warmth, finesse, and an unerring sense of swing, radiating an extraordinary spirit of melodic joy.
