The Chemainus Theatre Festival is a celebration of the senses. As a favourite destination for over 70,000 patrons a year, we are one of western Canada's largest performing arts organization renowned for presenting professional, notable artists, designers, and actors - and high quality sound, set, costume, lighting, acting and theatrics. Add to it all the fantastic food at the Playbill Dining Room and artisan's charming work in the Gallery Gift Shop and see why Chemainus shines - a cultural jewel by the sea!

The theatre venue features 274 fixed seats and features a semi-thrust stage, with full state of the art sound and lighting capabilities. It is great for staged presentations and speaking engagements alike, and has also been the setting for several unique wedding ceremonies.
