CVRD - Cowichan Lake Recreation owns and/or operates 5 facilities in 4 different communities around Cowichan Lake. Four of these facilities are community halls and one contains a bowling alley. Each of the halls has at least one stage and has been used for performances by theatre groups and live bands. Mesachie Lake Hall has a dining room, gymnasium with stage, kitchen and an adjacent ball field with bleachers. The Hall is approximately 3800 square feet with seating for 200 people. It is close to beaches for swimming and this venue is designed to host sports events, meetings, private functions and public gatherings.
