spectrum entertainment, Vancouver's number one hiphop concert promoter and producer, was founded in 1996 by Sean Lalla. Since it's creation, spectrum has brought to Vancouver more hiphop shows than any other promoter in the city's history In February of 2000, the promotion company created The Crossfade Turntablist series, which has since evolved into one of North America's finest party-rocking hiphop clubnights; CROSSFADE Fridays at Sonar where a different World Class DeeJay is featured every week. spectrum also teams with Gman & Rizk to bring you the latest incarnation of Vancouver's longest running non-commercial hiphop clubnight, El Famoso (Thursdays at Shine) In addition, spectrum acquired the west coast rights to the ILL-A-MENTAL underground hiphop concert series (founded by REMG, Classic and Kola Kube in Toronto).
