Recognized by the media early on as an incarnate “blues guitar flamethrower”, Bill has subsequently been nominated for a Maple Blues Award by the Toronto Blues Society. He has also impressed the likes of Duke Robillard and Hubert Sumlin, prompting Hubert to state “He’s just got it!” With his latest CD release, Still Blue, Bill and his tight-knit band deliver a heaping spoonful of world class blues. His band includes Darcy Phillips keyboards, Rick Erickson bass, and John Hunter drums.
