About

North Van Band

Covers and originals band best known for spot-on renditions of Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", Judas Priest's "Metal Gods" and Coney Hatch's "Monkey Bars". Despite a multitude of riffs and song ideas, only one finished original song, John Stedman's "Heavey Metal Lobotomy", emerged. Various riffs from both John Stedman and Jim Hadden went on to become parts of several August Frost songs (via Jim Hadden's involvement) on that bands 1992 and 1993 cassette releases, "Helvetica" and "August Frost", respectively.
