NYC percussionist Sean Noonan has played with both Thierno Camara’s West African Waaw Band and with the jazz-punk trio the Hub. Now he is forging a unique musical idiom, combining progressive jazz, African tribal rhythms, and Irish lyrics. His CD Brewed By Noon (Songlines) is garnering rave reviews. This collaboration with Vancouver composer/guitarist/oud player Gordon Grdina features original repertoire and has influences as diverse as Boubacar Traore, Marc Ribot, and Ken Vandermark. Fascinating groove-based music with Jesse Zubot violin and Tommy Babin bass.
For physical events that happen at a specific time. For example a concert, or dance performance. If there are multiple shows, you can still duplicate your event to cover them all.
