Minute Six
circa 2004 - circa 2006
Minute Six was formed in early 2004 by 4 UBC students bound by the common goal of lust for money, fame, and getting chicks by having a band instead of any character.
Minute Six is a reference to the 6th minute of track 5 of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here album. Later it was discovered that its actually the 7th minute but it was too late; we had already spend 25$ on minutesix.com. The band is composed of lead singer and guitarist Tom Pospisil, bass and vocals Petr Pospisil, drummer Dan Nadir and guitar and backing vocals Patrick Fletcher. The band is not tied to any particular style of music, trying to flirt with as many styles as possible without confusing themselves into a coma. The four are very close friends despite each trying to throw the others out of the band at least once, finally settling on the fact that they are all equally bad/good. So for the time bieng, for a small fee Minute Six is rocking some vancouver bar. Described by frontman Tom Pospisil as "a good band", this act cannot be missed.
