Michael Moore Trio

This seasoned trio of post-bop vets includes revered bassist Mark Helias and drummer Michael Vatcher. Leader, multi-instrumentalist and clarinetist Michael Moore infiltrated the Dutch music scene in 1978. In 1993 he was commissioned to compose for and perform with cellist Yo-Yo Ma in the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam. Moore has won many awards including placing number one in the 1997, 2000, and 2001 Downbeat critic�s poll for �clarinet�, the Dutch Jazz Award, and the Northsea Jazz Festival�s Bird Award. Moore has an extraordinary trio and will astound audiences at this year�s JazzFest.
