Born in Nanaimo B.C. ,Lived in Duncan B.C. most of my life, Logger , mill workrer , and later Cowichan River Salmon Hatchery , Learned how to carve starting when l was about 7yrs.old from my late father and later from the famous carver Simon Charlie , l carve masks, plaques , totems, paddles , carved and painted , bowls, paint drums , and special orders . but it only in the last 7-8 years , l have really started , seriously getting back into carving , as l have been working with D.F.O , for the last 36 years .
