Gwyneth Evans

Gwyneth Evans plays both concert grand and folk harp, and has performed often at concerts, festivals and private gatherings on Vancouver Island, in Seattle, and Vancouver. She has played as a soloist and with orchestras, including the Victoria Civic Orchestra and the Cowichan Consort . As well, she plays harp and other instruments with early music and folk groups. For 10 years she represented Canada on the board of the International Society of Folk Harpers and Craftsmen. The harp is beautiful as background music for weddings, dinners and receptions, both large and small, indoors and outdoors, and Gwyneth's extensive repertoire offers a wide choice of music for special occasions.

Gwyneth is available to play for weddings and other events in the mid and southern Vancouver Island area. She most often plays in Victoria, Duncan, Nanaimo and Parksville-Qualicum, though on occasion she and her harp will travel further afield.
