About

Graham Thompson

I am a Cree Metis story teller, who uses video to create multimedia installations. A project starts with people. I learn about their family's history and use video to record their stories. After this initial phase, I contact Indigenous leaders, linguists, painters, dancers, drummers, musicians, poets and writers in order to develop a large scale multimedia event. The events are organized in cooperation with funding agencies, Federal, Provincial, Municipal governments, Non-Governmental Organizations, Museums, Art Galleries, Universities, Colleges and citizen groups. I have worked with Indigenous People from Asia, Africa and the Americas.
