Biography

Gloria S. Daly is a full time artist with an Associate in Applied Arts and Science, Vancouver Island University. City & Guilds of London Institute certificates in hand embroidery, machine embroidery and design, and a Master Design certificate from The Embroiderer’s Guild of America Inc. Gloria works primarily in textiles with a focus on hand stitching. She has exhibited across Canada, in the USA, the UK, Australia, and France.
Daly is a member of Articulation, Fibre Art Network, Studio Art Quilt Assoc. and Surface Design Assoc. of America. Gloria teaches and lectures at textile related seminars and conferences. Her studio is located in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island, BC.
