Coat Cooke Trio

This hard-hitting and interactive trio boasts the talents of three of our city’s finest improvisers. Cooke is one of Canada’s most lyrical and inventive saxophonists and leads the acclaimed NOW Orchestra. Bassist Clyde Reed, also a longtime member of NOW, is a fearless and swinging player who has collaborated with Vinny Golia, Rich Halley, and other West Coast icons of free jazz. Drummer Kenton Loewen is an integral part of our scene and also plays in punk and alternative groups.
