Barbara Pedersen

Barbara Pedersen is a representational oil painter based on Vancouver Island. She was born and raised near Vancouver on the west coast of Canada close to the ocean and rain forests of BC.
In 1975 Barbara received a Commercial Art Diploma from Douglas College in Vancouver BC. In 2010 a semester at Watts Atelier in California provided an invaluable experience, that helped shape her expression of art.
Light and values create a small part of the landscape experience.
