Diamond Joe White has been known as the rough hewn poet laureate of the oil rigs and rodeos of Southern Alberta for many years. This Juno nominated singer/songwriter who has toured with the likes of Merle Haggard and the Ozark Mountain Dare Devils has agreed to put down his plumbing tools and pick up his guitar again to perform a concert at the James Bay Inn. With a voice as rough as campfire coffee and the heart-felt language of a cowboy poet, Diamond Joe dishes out a beguiling serving of earthy Canadiana, prairie gospel, blue-collar stomp-alongs and poignant ballads.
