Based in the Cowichan Valley, the west coast duo Lawson Kelly began early 2012 carving out the sound that they would eventually be recognized for. It’s a bit of outlaw country, old time bluegrass, upbeat celtic, without ever leaving the west coast. Its sure to keep a party moving. Both Levi, and John are influenced by a diverse stream of musical backgrounds which is evident in their live performances. You can expect a lively entertaining set condensing a wide variety of genres, and musical era’s into well known covers and original music.
The Cowichan Valley Regional District is a broad geographic region stretching from the Malahat to North Oyster and from the Cowichan Lake to Thetis Island.
