About

John Stetch TV Trio

Alberta-born jazz pianist John Stetch scrupulously learned his craft over many years, first in Montreal and later in NYC, playing in the Rufus Reid/Akira Tana Group for a decade. A four-time Juno nominee, Stetch is a lyrical and bold stylist at the keyboard; this inventive and virtuosic musician has also earned unanimous international acclaim for one of his great achievements, a trilogy of solo recordings. His current recording, a chart-climber named TV Trio, was nominated for “Traditional Jazz
Album of the Year” at the 2009 Juno’s.

“Canadian John Stetch is one of the most brilliant and underrated jazz pianists working today.” – Alain
Druot, Clavier
