About

Gail Harris and the Low Riders

Label: unsigned
since circa 2008
Combining original tunes and poetry, Gail Harris and The Low Riders transport the audience to the psychadelic sixties with their entertaining and serio-comic performances. Featuring performance poet Gail Harris (Men: A Passion Playground, Egoyan 1985; The Blue Silk Underwear of the Incredible Miss Rainwater (Coach House, 1986) and the percussion sculpting of Hon Chow, the driving bass lines and vocals of Gord Phillips and the funky vocals and percussion of Alley Zed, this band of rabble rousers is bound to get your toes tappin and your heart palpitating as you soar backwards through time or accompany them on a "Ferry to Mars"!
