We are looking for a lead guitar player in Nanaimo to compliment our band. Update: We have recently been offered a weekly paid gig after hosting one random jam. We currently have a guitar player willing to play until we find a new one. (ie He'd like to be retired from the pub scene)
We would like to start out with mostly rock cover tunes, and progress into recording and performing originals. There is a great chemistry and dynamic with Paul, Andrea and Vince who have a very fun and energetic stage presence, high quality musicianship, and an easy going attitude.
Paul Mudd Dog Betker, bass and vocals, has over 20 years experience including opening for and touring with Wide Mouth Mason, opening for Colin James and The Head Pins.
Andrea (nickname pending) Adams, keys and vocals, is an experienced lead singer live and in studio, having hosted professional jams and open mics.
Vince Mac attack Maki, drummer, has a wealth of experience and knowledge having played in the local music scene for many years.
All three musicians have jammed and performed live together over the past few years, and have decided to join forces this year to make a great sound with great people!
The name: We had to put something on here, so I put The Jedi Pirates because I think it's funny... We are working on an official name...
So, come join the fun, with great musicianship, networking, and exposure...
