About

Eisenstadt/Joode/Delius/Plimley

Toronto-born drummer/composer Harris Eisenstadt defies categorization as an artist. He’s worked with ad hoc improvised music groups with renowned musicians such as Nels Cline, Sam Rivers, and Paul Rutherford; in projects with musicians as varied as Bobby Bradford and Bernie Worell; in large ensembles led by Barry Guy and Yusef Lateef; and in world music bands with traditional musicians from Bali, Gambia, Morocco, and Senegal. Here he appears in an improvising quartet with the two wonderful Dutch musicians saxophonist Tobias Delius and bassist Wilbert de Joode and Vancouver legend Paul Plimley piano.
