Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival XIX (2018) Highlights
2018 saw the Victoria Ska & Reggae Festival celebrate 19 years with our biggest year yet and we're so excited to present this recap video to help our Ska & Reggae Massive relive the memories. Thank you to everyone who came out to dance, to laugh and to enjoy this culture we all treasure so much. One of our most musically and globally diverse lineups to date, 2018 was a year to remember with landmark sets from Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Ozomatli feat. Chali 2na, Panteón Rococó, Freddie McGregor, Culture feat Kenyatta Hill, Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad – to name just a few! We welcomed to our stages artists and bands from more than a dozen countries, more than ever representing the global reach and influence of Jamaican-rooted musics. We hope this video helps keep the fires burning bright as we buckle down in preparation for year 20 in 2019! Keep your eyes open for big news about next years festival coming VERY SOON!
A big thanks to Luke Connor Visual for this beautiful recap!
