Eye Of The Tiger - Survivor (Bass & Vocals Cover with Lyrics)
This week for my bass cover video I’m playing the song "Eye Of The Tiger" by the band Survivor. It was released as a single from their third album of the same name Eye of the Tiger and was also the theme song for the film Rocky III. This song showcases a punchy bass line that follows the kick and gives the song it's drive and some amazing vocals by Dave Bickler. I recorded my bass and my vocals live off the floor. No tweaking or modifications. It's the same as if I performed in your living room, imperfections and all. Big Thank You to Cole St-Denys and Mike Bertini!

For this video I used my Sadowsky NYC bass going through a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes, Diamond BCP1 Bass Compressor and into my Gallien-Krueger MB Fusion 800 amplifier.
Thank you for watching!

Lyrics
Eye Of The Tiger
Rising up, back on the street
Did my time, took my chances
Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet
Just a man and his will to survive
So many times it happens too fast
You trade your passion for glory
Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past
You must fight just to keep them alive
[Chorus]
It's the eye of the tiger
It's the thrill of the fight
Rising up to the challenge of our rival
And the last known survivor
Stalks his prey in the night
And he's watching us all
With the eye of the tiger
[Verse 2]
Face to face, out in the heat
Hanging tough, staying hungry
They stack the odds 'til we take to the street
For the kill with the skill to survive
[Chorus]
[Verse 3]
Rising up, straight to the top
Had the guts, got the glory
Went the distance, now I'm not going to stop
Just a man and his will to survive
[Chorus]
[Outro]
The eye of the tiger
